Please do not wash your harness straps, they should not be submerged in water only spot cleaned.

If you have already washed them or just want to purchase replacement straps they are available on the last page of your manual.

I found an online copy of the manual here as well in case you have misplaced yours:

Need new straps for maxi cosi tobi

Hi Mandy

Due to the safety implications of a carseat harness being incorrectly fitted we are unable to supply a harness to you as a spare part item.

To replace the harness the carseat would need to come in for our engineers to provide replacement and safety checks to ensure product is working as per specification. 1924a6a3-e420-4f10-b6df-f9a1deebe867.jpg

How to remove maxi cosi priorfix harness straps

Hi Deirdre

Due to the safety implications of the harness in your carseat being incorrectly fitted we must recommend that you do not attempt to remove or replace the harness yourself.

Should you wish to have it replaced you can send the seat to our engineers for inspection and replacement of the harness plus safety checks to confirm that it is working as per specification. 5bac1756-b7e9-4806-aa74-da8d8a038fa4.jpg

Hi. I have a Maxi-Cosi Priori SPS Car Seat which I purchased three years ago. I struggled to dismantle the straps from the seat to get the cover off in order to wash it, but I did manage it. But now I...

Good Afternoon

The harness straps should not have been completely removed from the carseat - you do not have to do this in order to remove the fabrics for washing. We cannot advise that you re-thread the harness yourself due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly done. This carseat should be sent to our engineers for them to carry out this work and for full safety checks to be done before it is used again.

Good Evening

Go to www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you are in. Now choose the Maxi Cosi Priori XP from the list of Group 1 carseats, and download a copy of the instructions for the seat. Included in the instructions is a step by step guide for removing the fabric. Make sure you don't pull the harness out as well!

Maxi-cosi priori previous model

There is a brackety thingy (sorry I'm not real technical) in the back that the straps connect to. Remove them, extend it, and re-connect them.
