Hi Paul
sounds like the constant live is not attached, normally this can be attached to a live feed from the fuse box, not one that powers off when you turn your car off, normally on the power plug with the wires you will have a red, a yellow and a black one, black is normally the earth, red is normally power to the system, and yellow is normally the constant live, but you will have to check this with the installation guide in the hand book to be 100% sure here is the page to your handbook last page shows exactly what i just mentioned hope this helps http://www.alpine-europe.com/fileadmin/user_upload/manuals//car_audio_manuals/CDE-W233R/OM_CDE-W233R_EN.pdf
The manual /recipe book can be downloaded for free. Just visit the Home Depot website and look for the Torpedo 10-in-1 page. You can find the 100 plus page manual under the "more info" tab.
If your printer equiped with ADF( Automatic Document Feeder ) then use it. Just remove staple wires in the middle of the book and put it in ADF and start copying
I do not know what program you are using but it sounds like you may have a default paragraph or character style set up in the target document. For example if the document that you are copying from has a normal style that has bold setting and then you copy it into the target document that has a normal style with say italics, the normal style in the target document will apply.
This is the case in programs like quarkxpress and indesign. Hope this gives you some ideas to help you out.
Turn key to program mode.
Type date as YYMMDD
Press X/TIME (maybe labelled X/ DATE TIME)
Press CLEAR
