Fails to print half of the page

When printing labels, it prints only half of them, and now it prints
only half of an 8 x 10 picture. Print setup and preview are all correct,
it just prints wrong.

You may have to reinstall the drivers. Make sure you have the latest driver downloaded from the manufacturers' website.
Also in the print dialogue box, dont choose spooling. Choose the 'print directly to printer' option.

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

Failed to load the print preview or failed to print.

You need to run the Wasp software under an Administrative account or Right click the program Icon and select run as administrator (only need to do this 1 time, not over and over again). Once the program loads, set the label printer again by clicking file at the top left and selecting Setup Label Printer. Select your label printer. Now try printing the labels again.

I cannot print a whole A4 page although the printer is set to A4 - ie labels only print one column

You can do several tests to understand where the problem is.1. Try to print a test page - Go to Printer Devices - Right click your printer and select Properties - Click Print Test Page button like on the picture below
11_29_2011_9_40_40_pm.jpgIf the result is still like your description, you are facing hardware problem like defective toner cassette or drum.2. Try printing from different sources - print a page from your browser like Internet Explorer - print a page from your Office Application like MS Office or OpenOffice - print from notepad - print from Image viewer application
If your printer prints only the left half of the page - this is definitely hardware problem. If you receive different results from different sources, find out wich one of them does the described printout and try to discover the setting that causes the problem and restore it.Sometimes when we talk about MS Office this problem is caused by Print Area setting. You can just Clear this Print Area from Page Layout like on the picture below.
I hope this was useful information for you!11_29_2011_9_56_30_pm.jpg

Half of the labels information is printing

I'm assuming you mean half is showing up as you go across the label. If that is the case and it's a very clear line where the print is cut off, then check the print width setting through the front panel of the printer. Press SETUP and look for setting called MAX WIDTH. It should be set to 104MM (4") which is the width of the print head. It is set to something smaller if the print is being cutoff.

If the print is fading away as you go across then that it is a print head balance issue. Look at the print head pressure dials on top of the print head assembly to make sure they are set evenly.

Hope that helps !

PRINTS ON ONLY HALF OF THE LABEL

If the printing clearly stops, then the maximum width setting of the printer is not set to the full 4 inches (104mm) of the printhead. Go into the setup mode on the printer and look for the setting called PRINT WIDTH and make sure it's set to 104mm or close to that. If printing is only half way across the label, it's because the width is set to something less than 104mm.

if the print fades away off the label, that is due to an imbalance in the pressure across the printhead.

Hope that helps !

My printer is only printing half of the page

half page? just half top page (top-bottom), or left and right. If just left half page, set page setup as actually paper wide that inserted. because, if actually paper wide is smaller than page setup, some epson printer jsut print half. before starting printing, the paper sensor measure paper wide first.

Make sure the option for bidirectional printing is set correctly.

Try it both ways

Make sure you are not printing too far to the left or the right - the print head can hit the end of its run and lose its place.

Zebra 170PAX3 not printing the top half of label

If you print a power on test label, see if the print is aligned, id so, use the top of form setttings to get all the print on the label.

As far as a USB, the printer will only take RS232-422,485, and parallel, and you can add the factory Nic card or use an external print server.

Prints on only 1/2 of sheet of paper

Let's verify the main source of the problem:
Are you possibly printing web pages? Some are not very printer friendly, and could fit the description you give.
If you can print successfully from another application (notepad, MS Word, etc.), your printer is working and the issue is software related (setup, etc.), and not the device. Check your page setup to see if you have the correct page size, orientation and offsets set correctly.

If all apps fail, check your printer's User Guide for more information.
