Led is flashing 8 time amber and in book it stays watchdog timeout reboot,what does this mean and how can i fix this,it is a new system and installation and can only get to about 130-140m before loosing the bottom

This Error Watchdog Timer means something is very wrong with the computer running the camera. You normally should never see this error.

OK, i can elp you but before that haver you tried rebooting because then, i would be able to teach you an how to digitize the xf region battery as well as the system compartments

3 short beeps means Base 64K RAM failure.

try to replace the RAM.

? I wounder what color is your lamp - red or yellow (amber) and just so you know most parts stores now days can tell what a code is with out charging a dime to you.

VRM and NMI lights lit usually indicate an issue with CPU #2's VRM which can be replaced. Also check 5 lights on back middle of system. If VRM light is lit here remove CPU 2 and VRM and reboot system. If system boots, this was the issue...

I have the same problem. This is the second bulb in 6 months. The first one lasted 13 months. The bulb explodes inside and makes a loud snap noise, like an arc. The repair guy said it was the ballast along with the bulb. Good luck

Hi,

The flashing amber light means the screen is in power save mode. Since you are not seeing a "No Video Signal" things are looking up.

You want to use the menu buttons on your screen to navigate through and locate the power save time out settings. Its best to set it for 'never'.

If that makes the change a fix, let me know, I'll guide you through the settings on your desktop display to control the display time out.

From the OKI site, I found this information. My problem is a Flash 2 Blink, which is a problem with the cover or minor error, whatever that means. I can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Have you unplugged the printer and retried? Also check for a paper jam.
