if it is bowing from top and bottom your looking at a convergance problem if you keep using your tv soon there will be no picture at all when the board crashes... convergance board needs to be replaced... hope this helps..
This is a convergence problem that you can fix if you can solder. Let me know if you wish to attempt the repair and I'll post additional details and instructions.
Well it very hard to explain what to do, it sound like you have a convergence problem, not clear I would have to see the pricture, is you problem showing bending of the colours, whitch colours, and why just the left bottom, this is what is curving me off, is there a way you can send me picture, to [email protected] and maybe I could answer beter,
I have the same problem, it is called the "bow tie" effect, I read in a forum a couple of years back it is because they started computer sodering instead via humans and it was not successful during that time. I bought mine in 02. I was hoping to find a picture of the the board and the specific soder joint on this forum. I hate to pay alot for a tech, (specially since it was mitsibitsi's poor craftmanship) and a 65" is not something you throw in the truck and take to them. Good Luck.
