Hi,

First of all try to reset your unit.Switch off your unit and disconnect all the cables connected to it .Leave the unit for 15mins and after that again connect it and start your unit.
Hope this helps , if not then

This is a sure fire way of getting that DVD out. Open up the unit, find the load and unload gear, rotate the gear and that should eject the carriage slide. That's it.

Other wise contact the company or a repair shop.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

My dvd does not play in laptop due to digital copyright problem. what can i do to fix this? no dvd wil play

Copy-protected DVDs prohibit people from copying them, which is piracy. Copying a DVD to sell or even to give away is illegal. You can play copy-protected DVDs in a standalone DVD player or in your computer's DVD drive, as long as your computer's software is up to date. These DVDs will play the same as DVDs that are not copy protected

Press the "Eject" button on your DVD player to open the DVD tray. Set the DVD into the tray, and push the "Eject" button to close the tray. Press the "Play" button on your DVD player, and the DVD will play. b> On a DVD Drive on a Computer Press the "Eject" button on your DVD drive to eject the DVD tray. Set the DVD into the DVD drive, and push the tray in to close it. Click the "Start" tab on your computer's home screen to open the "Start" menu. Click on "My Computer" to open it. Click on the DVD drive to open the DVD. Click on "Autoplay" to play the DVD.

My lg dvd tray wont open

It'll probably be cheaper to replace the DVD player. For future reference, at the front of the tray, there should be a tiny hole. If ejection fails, stick a straightened paper-clip in the hole. This should release the shuttle/tray and you won't need to open the whole machine

Dvd plays but will not eject. Screen says open but then goes to play.

Hi there,

Well first of all you may try the following steps-
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet for 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
Attempt to open the disc tray.
If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons.

If the above steps do not works then there may be some mechanical problem in the tray. Please post further comments if the above steps not worked.....

Good Luck!!

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Does not play when disc entered nor when play is selected. (XD-E500KB)

Hello

Push in the plug connected to the "Video Out" jack on the rear of the Dvd to ensure it is connected firmly. Check the connection at the back of the TV as well.

Press the "Source" or "Input" button on the TV remote to verify the television's input is set to the DVD connection.

Press the "open/close" button on the front of the DVD to open the disc tray. Insert and test different DVDs to determine if the problem is with a specific disc, or if the player will not operate.

Eject the DVD tray and insert the DVD laser lens cleaner. Close the tray and wait a few seconds for the cleaning disc to load. Press "Play" on the front control panel to spin the disc through the cleaning cycle.

Remove the cleaning disc, insert a DVD and test playback operation. If the machine still will not play discs, the main receiver unit may require internal repairs best left to an experienced technician.

Does anyone know who to make region 2 Samsung BD-P1500 player multi region ie play both region A blue ray and region 1 dvd?

Below is a known process to unlock your region settings. Not 100% surefire.

1) Turn on the player with no disc in the tray
Wait till the unit is at the Samsung logo screen.

2) Open then close the tray, wait to see the No-Disc Message in the top Left Corner

3) Now press the REPEAT button on the remote, followed by a five digit code.
In this case Repeat 76884

Now it to me about 20 tries to get this to work, It needed to be done without delay.
So if you don’t get it to work straight away don’t loose heart.

4) When it works a 4 will appear in the top left corner

5) Press 9 to make it regionless.
6) Press Eject to OPEN to open the disc tray.
7) Press Eject to CLOSE to close the disc tray.

8) Power the unit off

9) Now power the unit on again, it should now read all regions of DVD Disc.

From other threads I got the follow list of region codes.

R1 - 29334
R2 - 57538
R3 - 56732
R4 - 76884
R5 - 53814
R6 - 24462

Post back and let me know if this works. Thank you for trying Fixya!
