my phone cant fine my bluetooth headset

  • Gonz0585 Aug 10, 2008

My friend gave me his old H700... And when I perform the normal procedure of pairing to my phone (when the device is straight out the package), it won't work.

Usually the purple light stays solid for a while, even after opening the boom... so yea there has to be a way to reset this device.

    Otherwise, its usless lol

Can this be fixed

Try adjusting the volume not only on your bluetooth but also on your phone as well. The 2 volumes are not associated with each other at all. If that does not work still, your Bluetooth may not be compatible with your phone or you may have a defective bluetooth. Make sure you within 18 feet of your phone when talking on your bluetooth. Hope that helps!

Won't detect Motorola H700

Hi David, I want you to go to this link for your nokia E65. Click the link.
http://europe.nokia.com/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_119729

On the left side of the page click Demos
When the demo window opens click, Select Demos button.
Scroll through the list until you see Sending Via bluetooth.
Follow the interactive instruction to connect to your H700.
You'll need to set your H700 into pairing mode when searching for the bluetooth H700.
It might be a good idea to book mark the main page.

Good Luck! Take your time.

Purple light wont stay lit for pairing

Make sure the microphone is closed and the BlueTooth is off. Hold the button in until it turns purple. As soon as it does release the button and flip out the microphone. The purple light should stay lit all the time now. That is until the pairing process is done with the phone.

Problem with Motorola H700 Bluetooth

rhondarenee: If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation. SithPitt
