Aux stands for auxiliary input, it means a device like mp3 player can be plugged into head unit and passed along and amplified by the internals of the radio. so the radio will control the passive device.

Does using an ipod/AUX adapter through the CD changer input stop a real CD from working?

you have to change it from the Aux setting to CD when you want to play cd, some cd players switch to aux. automatically when you plug inthe aux. cable. and may have to be unplugged when playing cd.

Auxiliary power outlet not work

Some of the outlets are on the aux fuse in the passenger compartment, and the others are on the AUX PWR fuse in the fuse box near the battery.
Your owners manual should list the fuse locations.

I have a behringer 16 channel board . the 2nd aux send in not working as of last week. What's the general problem that happens when an aux send stops working?.................

I don't believe this board has an "Aux send IN" jack. There are "Aux Send" and Aux Return.

The Aux returns are TRS jacks.

Make sure ALL interconnected equipment are powered from the SAME receptacle or source to avoid damage to equipment.

You might clarify the exact name of the in or out that is not working. I have schematics to help troubleshoot the problem.

I have a Vizio 210 soundbar and the remote control is junk! I want the code the woeks on my Comcast universal remote control.

After much research, here is a step-by-step for getting your Vizio Soundbar to work with the Comcast remote using EFC codes (mine is the newer charcoal grey one, works great!)

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 11144 (2 blinks)

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00169 - Vol Up - Should get 2 blinks

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00168 - Vol Down - Should get 2 blinks

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00037 - Mute - Should get 2 blinks

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00165 - Power - Should get 2 blinks

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00164 - Input - Should get 2 blinks

These are optional, I didn't use them:

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00036 - <button to use for TVOL> - Should get 2 blinks

Aux - Setup (2 blinks) - 994 - Setup - 00101 - <button to use for TSHD> - Should get 2 blinks

Then set the volume control on the remote and other settings according to the Remote's manual.

ENJOY!! Hope this helps someone...

There is a aux in the back of my stereo will it work for my ipod? i cant get the front mini aux to work?

For this to work you will need an aux cable with RCAs and an iPod cable with receiving RCAs, or an aux cable with an iPod cable on the other end( haven't seen that one...yet). Mount it near the center console because there will be no controlling the iPod from the radio, only sound.

How do I setup the SoundMAX device for AUX line-out?

The cable from the computer simply needs to be plugged in to the speaker/headphone jack on the computer, then run to the AUX input on the amp. Make sure the volume on the computer is set to about 75% - 90%.

My Aux-in wont work

did you turned aux function?

turn off your player by pressing and holding volume controler.
press and hold longer (~5 sec) it again to turn it on (you should see 'tuner' in the lcd).
push up arrow to select aux and right/left to turn it on.

now you can connect your ipod and select aux (as ussual switching between tuner/cd player/aux)

cheers :)
