Calibrating Pioneer AVIC-D1
You need to connect the hand brake sensor wire , Should be a light green wire , if you connect this wire to the car chassis you should be good to go , check the wiring diagram in the manual or hopefully it's still on your head unit.
How do i fix my error 15 codes pioneer cd player
Try a cleaning disc. The error means your device cannot find any data on the CD. As I suspect you have tried several CD's with the same result, if the cleaning disc does not resolve the problem, then your laser:
A. May be misaligned
B. Going bad
C. Already bad and needing replacement
But replacing the laser would be expensive. You have to weigh the expense of commercial repair vs getting another unit.

Ok I have a pioneer stereo in my truck ,which someone else installed it before I bought it ,it's never held it's memory like time, presets or display setting , it will for only a few mins after truck is killed but if you wait to long to to restart all memory is lost ,so every time I get in the truck I have to put everything back in, so knowing that ,here is my question. Recently the radio started holding the display color which it never done before ,it is holding strong no matter how long the truck is dead before I recrack it ,why is it all of a sudden holding display color memory but nothing else? Hope someone can help
You have a red wire and a yellow wire, both of them are hot wires.ome is memory the other is constant hot.the yellow is memory it needs to be hooked to a hot wire on the truck in the harness for the radio that's hot all the time.tThw red hooks to one that is only hot when you turn the key on,or the other way around try that if it still does it switch those two wires. Hope this helps
