Usb cable need to replace the usb cable were can i get one

Most Vivitar cameras do have an USB cable with a mini USB plug going into the camera and a normal USB plug going into the computer. Every electronica shop, where you can buy camera's will have such a cable. Don't forget to take your camera with you, so you can try the plug going in the camera in the store.

If I am right, the error message should be "USB Device is not recognized...." not "Fevice" :-). This happens with most usb devices when there's connection problem, i.e. the USB cables or the USB Ports or the USB interfaces.
First of all try the printer with the same cable on another machine to make sure it works, if it doesn't work, then you'll need to replace the USB cable or try with another cable.

You can also try cleaning he USB Ports and the cables usb jack with a brush dampen with alcohol. Also clean the usb ports on the computer with the same materials mentioned.

These will definitely help you find out the culprit and take the necessary actions, like replacing or switching the usb port.
To simply find out if it's the computer or the printer or the cable, try the printer on another computer.

I am not sure what cable you are looking for, it sounds like a cable that goes from a USB external hard drive to the USB port of the computer. I have seen these cable both ways A-B and also A-A, if you don't know what type of cable it is, I would first refer to the manufacture's web page. If they don't have information on it I include a picture of the type of USB ends and a place to purchase a cable once you identify it.This is a USB A connector and this a be connector here is a website to purchase a cable.

The required cable uses standard USB connectors. USB A male on one end and USB Mini-B 5 pin male on the other end. There are any number of sources to purchase one, here is an example.

There are a couple mini USB connectors out there, especially in digital cameras.
But what you need is the most common USB A -> USB Mini B cable, as used with many MP3 players, USB hubs, cellphones etc.
For example, a Nokia DKE-2 cable will work perfectly.

REPLACE THE USB CABLE NO OTHER WAY

Players use standard USB, Mini USB, or Micro USB. I believe the one in title uses Mini USB cable.
To get a replacement cable go to any computer shop or camera shop and buy a Mini USB cable, take the player with you and show it to the shop assistant to ensure you are buying the right cable.

In a pinch you could cut apart 2 other USB cables and splice the two male A ends together. There are 4 wires and a ground sheathing. The wires in USB cables are almost always the same colors so just match them up and you are ready to go.

As you are receiving the USB device not recognized whenever you plug in the USB cable, the problem could be either due to the corrupted USB drivers on your computer or the USB cable needs to be replaced. Try updating your USB drivers and/or replace the USB cable. I am sure that the issue will be resolved.

If you mean the USB Cable (not USB port as in your question) then you need a standard 'computer to peripheral' cable. It has the regular USB rectangular plug on one end (this part goes into the computer) and an almost-square plug on the other end (this part goes into the scanner.) I say "almost" square because it has two rounded corners to help with orientation.

As additional reference, these types of cables are commonly used to connect USB hubs to computers. For example, the USB hub built into my Dell monitor also uses this standard cable.
