I keep getting an error
You must have got a CD along with the scanner. Please disconnect the device and insert this CD into the drive and install the drivers for the device. Reboot the computer and then connect the device. Allow Windows some time to auto detect the device and load up its drivers. Then only would you be in a position to scan.

Driver for vista x64
Today I installed VueScan on my Win7 (7264) X64. After that the 1250 was still not recognized. Go to start and execute/run devmgmt.msc. You will get the hardware list with a yellow marker on your scanner driver. Double klick on that icon. Now you need to go to the second tab (driver program if I translate it) and second button (renew if I translate it) where you can install drivers for the device. Tell windows to search on your computer and point to the VueScan directory (directly on C: , not in programs). Now Windows 7 (7264) X64 will find the driver and your Epson 1250 is recognized. :-) Tested and working.
This same method worked for installing the AlexP drivers for my PS3 Eyetoy on windows 7 (7264). Tested and working also.

MY EPSON programe is not working I have tried to
use this software to uninstall the driver and the software,http://www.ursoftware.com/
, after unistalling you need to reboot your PC, and then you can install again the driver and the software. after finishing the setup you need to restart again, if you find a problem when installing the driver so you have a problem with your operating system you need to repair or recover the system or restore to another date.
if you have a question live a comment i will answer you.
