Hello there:
There are several hoses that run under the washing machine that go to different pumps that could be getting loose from the machine operation over time
so and alos hoses are subject to failure due to wear and tear
So what you are going to have to do is to remove the front lower panel and use a flashlite and look to see where the leak is coming from
and then once yo have found where the leak is coming from you may be able to tighten the hose clamp if it is that is leaking and hopefully not he hose itself. and if it is the hose it'self that is leaking have to replace the hose ok
Hope this is very helpful for you

I have replaced what's called the drain bellow about three times - it's an accordian-looking rubber tube about 2" in diameter or so that fails about every year or year and a half. I swear there's a class action suit there. It has only a few connection points so easy to replace. I can't remember which way you're supposed to NOT turn the unit over - check the owner's book or talk to a service rep.

I have a fisher and paykel washing machine. Its started leaking under the machine when its do the rinse.

The leak could be from:
  • the pump
  • one of the hoses that attaches to the pump system

It is likely to be the pump. However, to verify where the leak is coming from do the following:
  1. Make sure the washer is empty of excess water. (Run the Spin cycle, if not sure.)
  2. Unplug the washer.
  3. Turn off the hot and cold water supply taps.
  4. Disconnect the hot and cold water supply lines.
  5. Pull the washer away from the wall a couple feet.
  6. Have a helper tip the washer back toward the wall and hold it up securely for you!
  7. Get down on the floor with a flashlight and look up underneath the washer for the pump. It will have a small fan blade as well as wiring and water tubing going to it.
  8. If you see signs of rust or water drops on the pump, the pump impeller shaft seal is probably leaking. Order a new pump and install it. It takes no tools and about 20 minutes as follows...

  1. Get a roll of paper towels.
  2. Make sure the washer is empty as above.
  3. Unplug the washer.
  4. Turn off hot and cold taps.
  5. Disconnect hot and cold supply lines.
  6. Pull washer away from the wall a foot or two.
  7. Tip the washer back toward the wall.
  8. Have a strong, reliable helper hold the washer in that position -- firmly against the wall.
  9. Get down on the floor. Lie on your back and put your head and arm under the washer (that's why you need a good helper!).
  10. Unplug the electrical wiring to the pump. (The GWL11 has 2 wiring connectors.)
  11. Slide a shallow plastic dishpan under the pump to catch any water.
  12. Find and bend back slightly (don't break it!) the plastic retaining latch that holds the pump in place.
  13. Rotate the pump counter-clockwise about 60 degrees, until it comes free.
  14. Note the angle/position of the pump as you pull it free. This is the same angle/position you'll use when you put in the new one.
  15. Have your helper clean up any excess water that ran onto the floor.
  16. Install the new pump.
  17. Have your helper lower the washer to the floor.
  18. Reconnect the washer to the hot and cold water supplies.
  19. Open the hot and cold taps.
  20. Plug in the washer.
  21. Test the washer with no clothes in it.
BTW - Cleaning all dust out from under the washer a couple times a year should help prevent pump squealing and leaking in the future.

Washer shakes terribly in spin cycle

Does the floor or the walls shake? If they do you have to beef up the flooring under your washer, with blocks between the floor joists, piers, or sistering of the joists. If there is no shaking of the floor or walls, and your washer is solid on the ground, leveled and not rocking, then it is your washer. Lg has problems with too much vibration in their washers. Check to make sure that your lint filter/coin catcher is clean. Open the door in the bottom front, put a towel down to catch the water, Unplug the washer, and unscrew the large plastic screw that is the filter for your washer. If this has debris in it clean it out completely. Look in the hoses also, if your water drain is restricted by lint or coins or other debris, the washer has clothes in it that are wetter and heavier than they should be, and this will cause sever vibration. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Dishwasher leaks at start

Is the washer not "over filling" due to the water fill vacume pipe and micro switch that shuts off the water once the correct level blocked or restricted due to fatty residue? This could also be one of the washer pipes clogged up and increasing the pressure in the fill tank.

Miele leak when switched on for wash, from filter unit front LHS bottom of machince

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110

Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Model 110 water leak

It sounds like you have a leaking pump. The pump is easy to replace:
#1 Use a shop vac and pull all the water out of the drain line. This will keep you from having to clean up about 1 gallon of water off of the floor.
#2 Lift the front of the machine enough for you to get under and see.the pump just inside the front of the washer.
#3 Lift the 2 retaining clips off of the pump. This will allow you to pull the pump off of the motor.
#4 Remove the 2 clamps off of the hoses.
#5 Install the new pump into the hoses, and reinstall the clamps.
#6 With the retaining clips installed into the motor housing, install the pump.
#7 Attach the retaining clips, and set the washer back on the ground.

You have now replaced the washer pump.
