Lg front loader washing machine has no power

You will need to unplug the washer, remove the 4 screws from the white plastic pieces on the rear of the machine main top, remove the top by sliding to the rear, locate your main computer board in the top left, plug the washer into the wall, check for a small red LED light glowing on the board. You may have to unplug the washer again and remove the cover in front of the computer board to be able to see the light. If there is no red light your main control board is out, but this could have been caused by another failure such as a faulty stator, or rotor on the motor. Sometimes the connecting wiring from the front control panel to the main rear board will become loose and suffer damage against the moving tub. Best to have a qualified repair company check things out. Pleazer Appliance...

My lg direct drive front loading washing machine display ooanel and lights does not common but the sound is present

You need to remove top and check for 12v and 5v,( put multimeter leads on wires one at a time) going into display panel from main board. If you see 12v and 5v than display board is very bad.If no voltage at all then main b. is bad or the noise filter fuse is bad.

My washer control panel has power to it, but when I attempt to start a load of laundry, it does not start, No error messages, it just sits idle.

Unless it says C.L (Which means Child Lock), it could just be a loose contact point, or even a dirty connection.

Follow these steps:
- Step 1) Cut the power to the machine
- Step 2) Loosen the Facial Panel (Clips on left and Right sides)
- Step 3) Lean open Facial panel, so you can see the PC Board rear
- Step 4) Remove all connections, carefully noting where every connector goes.
- Step 5) Blow away dust, remove fluff or dirt, even check for cockroach eggs. (If need be, use a normal Pencil eraser to clean on the circuit board, this will avoid damaging it)
- Step 6) Reconnect all connection, and re-fit the Facial Panel
- Step 7) Turn power back to machine & Test.

Hope this helped

Main circuit board faulty

SE is 'sensor error' This could be anything from a loose wire to a faulty Hall sensor or even a main board failure......You probably need an LG technician. Your machine sounds like it's worth repairing.. Get quotes.........Good luck...Nomess
