MP830 Canon - NOZZLE CHECK does not print light cyan line

MP830 Canon - The color while printing photos is too yellow. I think it has something to do with the cyan color. When doing the NOZZLE CHECK PATTERN the light cyan line does not show up at all although the dark line does. I have also done the following multiple times: normal cleaning and pattern checking, deep cleaning, and changed the cartridges to ensure all colors are full.

You will need a new printhead, QY6-0061-000, runs around $60.00 well worth it for your machine.

Why is my Canon Pixma 4820 suddenly leaving lighter lines through color pictures.

Worn print head. And for what they charge for a stinking print head you can get a new printer for less with a warranty to boot!

Canon PIXMA iP3000. I have completed a nozzle check, but have odd results... BLACK-Perfect CYAN-4 EQUALLY SPACED WHITE LINES...NO DROP OUTS PALE CYAN-PERFECT MAGENTA- 4 EQUALLY SPACED WHITE LINES...NO DROP...

Inkjet printers do not like being left unused for long periods.
Some of the color print head may be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear the blocked print nozzles.
If none of this works then the print head needs to be replaced.
A new cartridge will not solve this problem.
NOTE the print head is not a cheap item, you may consider putting the money towards a new and better printer.

My canon i9900 prints photos with an over abundance of red

Check your inks and make sure you don't have photo cyan where the cyan should be, and print a nozzle check to see that all colors are printing. Also make sure photo magenta and regular magenta are in the right places.

When printing a red line appears about every 8mm through the all of the page i am useing a epson rx630 fred

It means some nozzle not perfect. If you check nozzle, there is missing lines for some nozzle. Example : Print blue color ( 100% cyan + 100% magenta). If some point of cyan head is clog, the output will be shown that at some lines just show magenta. It repeated. Yous said every 8 mm, so, you must print it at best photo quality. If you have print at best photo quality, and lines still appear, it must some nozlle badly clog. Try do head cleaning, wait for 30 minutes. Check Nozzle.

All of my ink cartridges are full but the yellow won't print.

Try taking alcohol and qtips just to the contact strip where the cartridge and the printer meet? What type of connection to the computer is it?

Photo printing

It is definite one cartridge is not running. You do one thing - 1. Write documents in MS-Word - select all - change the color to Red. Take print out. Check Printing is perfect or not.
2. Write documents in MS-Word - select all - change the color to Cyan. Take print out. Check Printing is perfect or not.
3. Write documents in MS-Word - select all - change the color to Yellow. Take print out. Check Printing is perfect or not.
I am sure when you changed the color to Cyan - it did not print Cyan or blank page you got.
So you must replace the Cyan cartridge or may be ink is not coming out through the passage. And first you have to check whether you have removed the plastic tape from the head of t he cartridge.
