Touch pad always lit up...

When the machine is plugged in, all the touch keys are all lit up. They never go out, even when the "off" button is pushed. This problem just started 2 days ago. It has a code number on read out screen of 66. Is this the "top touch pad" gone bad? Machine will not run or respond to anything.

Yes, if the leds are all lit and no respnse, then your board in the top counsel is faulty. Have you haad any power surges recenlty.? Power surges sometimes mess up computer boards. But yeah, it sounds like its bad tho. There should be led light on unless you start pushing buttons. Have you hit the "off" selection. If nothing turns off the led lighting, it sounds like the board might be bad...hopefully this helps

My Oster Microwave #OM1201EOVG beeps when plugged in and will not stop. Just beeps continually. Is it broke?

probably bad touch pad, the unit thinks your standing there pushing and holding down a button on the touch pad. Will need new touch pad or main PC board. Tough pad cheaper, more common, start there.

I accidentally locked my cursor. I'm in Word. I leaned (unwittingly) on my built-in mousepad, the little light in the NW corner of the "mousepad" went on, and locked the cursor. How do I unlock it?

Whats the model of your laptop, it may have a button combination to unlock the mouse, or even a single button that locks / unlocks it.

You could always plug an external USB mouse into it in the meantime.

Amana side by side water in the door wpn't shut off. If I open the freezer door it will shut off. I have tried to unplug it and replug but that doesn't help. Model # ARS2667BS.

it sounds like the touch pad button is stuck in so it's like someone is always pushing on it,when the door opens the contact in the door switch stops the power to the board, when you close the door the power goes back to the board.you can check this by disconnecting the ribbon that comes off the touch pad and plugs into the board, unplug the fridge then you can unplug the ribbon, when you plug the fridge back in if the water stops coming out you know the touch pad is bad,if the water still comes out then the board that the touch pad plugs into is bad.you can call your parts store and see if the touch pad comes with the board,i've found this problem on other machines and they sold everything together, but if the parts are sepatate do what i said, unplug the ribbon if the water stops the touch pad is bad,if it doesn't then it's the board that's bad.you can shut off the water at the valve that connects to the fridge if you haven't done that already and then do the tests .good luck.

I have new ProBook 4720s and the touch pad is locked? How do I unlock it?

You will have a push button just above the touch pad, if you push that button it will activate the touch pad...
Alternatively you will have the touch pad symbol printed on one of the function keys (f1 to f12), if you presss the "fn" and corresponding function key it will activate the touch pad...

I have a Whirlpool Velos Microwave/convection over the range microwave. It is 2.5 years old. Tonight, after putting the fan on the unit is now indicating an Error message "F2H1-Hood Keys Stuck- the...

Sounds like the pads that you push on the touch panel are stuck, will probably have to replace the whole touch panel. On units installed over the oven, they typically plug into an outlet in the cabinet above the microwave. if not, try flipping your circuit breakers until you find the one that shuts off the Microwave.

Touch pad failed.

Look along the top of the keyboard for an "f key" that shows a "touch pad" icon, IF you see it, press the "function key" (along the bottom of the keyboard) PLUS at the same time the "f key" (that you found along the top) and that should "toggle" the touch pad back on....
Also, IF you plug in a USB mouse that will allow you to move the cursor around--but the USB mouse doesn't fix your touch pad problem.
Hope this helps.
