Add/remove songs i put some music on my 40gb zen touch and now I can not figure out how to change what I've put on it. I can not add more songs to it or take the old ones off. Any suggestions?

Bearshare is a program that can be used to download and listen to audio files on your computer. You can also use Bearshare to put music directly onto your iPod or portable music player. Using Bearshare to add songs to your iPod will save you the time of having to search for your downloaded files using iTunes. By using Bearshare, you can download a new song and place that song directly onto your iPod without having to open another software program.

Download the latest version of Bearshare (see Below). http://www.bearshare.com/ Install Bearshare onto your computer. When you do, Bearshare will search for audio files that are already on your computer. The program will then add those files to the "My Library" portion of Bearshare. Open Bearshare. Click the "iPod/Mp3 Player" option on the left side of Bearshare. Plug your iPod into your computer. A dialog box will open on your screen. Click "OK." The "iPod/Mp3 Player" option will be replaced with the name of your iPod. Click the "My Library" option in the top left corner of Bearshare. Any songs that you added when installing Bearshare or that you have downloaded with Bearshare will appear on the screen. Click on the song and then drag the file over to the name of your iPod found on the left side of the screen. Doing so will add that song to your iPod. Continue doing this until you are finished adding songs to your iPod. Disconnect the iPod and close Bearshare.

open zen folder from my computer, Make sure file is put in MP3 file or DHCM file. Manually drag it to a specific file and not just drive alone. Make sure all your drivers are downloaded. You can also create a playlist in media player and sync device and add playlist to zen from media player

I would suggest you take it back and get another brand. I bought 2 of those and they both kept on having the same problem. I do not that the Creative Zen is good product.

Before using Frostwire, understand that it is a very virus-prone site - make sure you have anti-virus software on your computer before trying to use. You can't transfer songs directly to your mp3 player through Frostwire, but you can download the songs into the "My Music" folder of your computer - you will have to go into the Frostwire Properties toolbox, and change your download folder from "Frostwire Downloads" to "My Music" in order to make this happen. Once the songs are downloaded onto your computer, open up Windows Media Player - use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs from your "My Music" folder to your Zen. (alternatively, you can change your Library --> Add to Library folders in Windows Media Player to include the "Frostwire Downloads" folder). do a google on your model and download the convert software
it probally has the format as cell phone videos but yours is probally easier.. you could just try a usb cable and port over to the folder where the videos and music is on,

no matter what when you remove your music from your library you are going to lose the songs when you plug it back in....im sorry

Hey Sheikhea!

You won't need to download or install any programs if you have Windows Media Player on your computer. You can use other programs but WMP is probably the easiest!

1. Plug in your MP3 player using the USB cord (should be in box)
2. Open WMP
3. (If your songs are already in Library skip this step). Click "File" (top left hand corner) then "Add to Library..." Click "OK" WMP will now find all music on your computer and add it to Library.
4. If the internet is connected WMP will attempt to find song info such as title, artist, album etc. Otherwise right click on song and click "Edit"
5. Click on "Sync" tab (top of player). A sidebar should appear with "Creative zen.. etc" written on the top.
6. Drag songs into sidebar.
7. Click "Start Sync"
8. The songs will now download onto your MP3 player.

To organise your files into folders etc. go to "My Computer" then "Creative Zen etc" then "Music" and create folders (right click "create folder") copy, paste, and drag your songs in folders as you like.

You can now unplug you MP3 player and turn it on!

Thank you thank you thank you a billion times, you just saved my life (well, at least my zen's). Did as you said, my Zen Touch 20GB is rebuilding it's library right now. Oh, now it's done. Everything's still there, awesome. Thank you!
