How do I repair the color on my Samsung LCD TV. I can still see the picture but 3/4 of the TV goes green/purple/pink and the bottom 1/4 has normal color.

This sounds like an electronic temperature related failure.
Samsung voids the warranty if you attempt to repair it.
Best take it to the repair shop but if possible try warranty first.

The t con board or LCD panel of the tv is faulty. Can confirm by replacing the t con board.

I did some research and I found this link that will should you the schematic of the LCD technology,It sounds like one of you LCD color ships is not working properly,your TV has 3 ships (BLUE,GREEN,RED)

Chuck the TV - probably It depends on the repair facilities available where you live. In big urban areas the cost of staffing a repair shop is such it can cost nearly as much per hour just to look at an item is it does to buy the next one-plus you get all the latest features.
