Does the microwave turn on, the plate spins and it counts down time?
If so, and the only issue is that the microwave is not heating you are looking at a High Voltage transformer or a Magnetron. Either parts should only be installed by a service technician, and will cost you $100+ for the repair at most repair shops.

Yes, I'm trying to help you. Sorry about all the questions, but it's part of diagnosis.
Generally, the most common causes of a failure to heat are:
- bad door switches or door switch mounts
- loose or corroded connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose connection on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron
- shorted high voltage diode
At this point, it seems pretty clear that the problem is in the high voltage section, most likely the magnetron, but possibly the high voltage diode or transformer..
Here are some links you or someone you know can use for test help to find the defective component, but read their safety warnings first:

With these symptoms, I would suspect you have a bad magnetron.
If
it's within the magnetron portion of the warranty (usually 5-9 years)
but out of the original full warranty (usually 1 year), then your
manufacturer will cover the part cost, but not the cost to visit you or
the labor charge to do the work.
Some manufacturers will send you the magnetron to do it yourself. If
nothing else, you can save about $75 by taking it to the shop yourself.

Hi,It is most likely the magnetron and diode that has to be replaced. This job should be done by a tech, High voltage. Magnetron's normally have a five year warranty, check your owners manual.

Hello, I had the same problem, and just fixed mine. Start by turning on your microwave (on mine, the light turned on and timer worked, but the fan nor the plate turned)... push the door upward and see if the microwave turns on... (mine did). so far so good. open the door and take the upper hinge cap off with flat head screwdrive. take the door off and place a small washer on the bottom hinge, put the door back on. your microwave should be good now. essentially, the door just needs to be pushed up a bit so it will work.
good luck, hope that works for you...
