Streak down the middle of each scan - Panasonic KV-S2026C Pass-Through Scanner

Hi

Open your scanner lid and make sure their is no dirty marks sitting on your scanner glass. Also does this happen on the scanner glass or when using the ADF? If its on the ADF its most likely that the glass is dirty and needs to be cleaned.

The problem you describe sounds like moire.

Try scanning the image at different resolutions until the effect disappears.

I have exact problem. Is anybody know how to fix it? tv is 4 years old

The problem is that that there a small piece of glass that the doc feeder use's to scan the orginal. You will have to clean the small glass it's about a half of a inch piece and is normally under the doc feeder unit. It will either be to the right side of the main copy board glass or it is under the doc feed unit where the paper goes down through the feeder. It is mostly some white out on the glass, just clean with a dam cloth with water or windex..... Good Luck

This is going to seem dumb
If the streaks are in the direction of the lens travel
vaccum the thing out
If there is a dust crumb on the lens, it will show as a line, streak

if you need any parts for that machine a have 4of them

It is either in the path of the scanning like the platen glass or if it is a MFP check the little glass strip on top of the glass thats where auto doc feeder scan from, or the imaging drum/toner is bad, or the transfer belt is bad or worn and there could always be a roller causing the marks, or the fuser itself can be bad. there are just too many things that can cause that. is it streaks with no print or is it printed then scrated like streaks?

Couild still be cleaning. Look to see if there's a separate glass strip across the paper path (usually just upstream of the flatbed window). Dirt here is a common cause of streaks. If not that, then you might be looking at a problem on the scanner array, or in the connections going to it (much harder to get to the bottom of this - and I wouldn't have mentioned it but for the fact you say the streaks are inconsistent).
