Panasonic Scanner Service Utility

I have a customer with a KV-S3065 scanner and to troubleshoot it properly, I need the Panasonic Service Utility. Does anyone have it? I'm willing to pay for it.

Was anyone able to get the panasonic scanner service utility download? I need to test the sensors on a Panasonic KV-S4065CW scanner and the user utility has minimal options. The service utility has diagnostics features and is more robust. Thank you

First of all try to factory reset the unit. If that doesn't help then have it serviced at authorized repair shop.

I'm getting an "F62-52000000" error

F62 error is a problem with the lamp gain on the rear page camera .
Usually removing the camera & cleaning the optics will sort it out .
The scanner will need a good service & shading adjustment as well .
Only attempt this work if you are familiar with CCD Devices & care, as damage through mistakes can be very expensive .

Yes, you start at your start menu, then all programs, then panasonic, then scanner tool, then user utility.

Its broken

Be sure you have installed all the drivers and softwared needed. Power the scanner off, then download and install the following from this website: http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/scanner/download.html

STI device driver
TWAIN driver
ISIS driver
User Utility

After all have been installed, reboot your computer. Once booted, power on your scanner and allow Windows to locate and finish installing the drivers.

How do I turn off the beep it makes when it finishes scanning?

I donno how to control through software, but by removing the buzzer, you can cut the sound!
Scanners give a beep and they have been designed to communicate even when the operator is not around. Beeps are different for different conditions, from paper Jam to Error to Job finished. Quite an effort goes in designing the beeps, be it microwave or washing machine or Telephone handset. Lets respect the design effort and leave it as it is.

Resetting the counters, when you don't have the original product's disk

You can download the User Utility from this page: http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/en/scanner/downl_e.htm#USERUTY
The utility will let you reset the Clean Roller counter.

If you still have the CD that came with your scanner, put it in and you should be able to install the Panasonic Scanner User Utility. The utility has the buttons to allow you to clear the counter(s).
