I can't find the CD to my Lexmark P4350 and don't have the ocr program to scan text documents into my computer. Where can I find the program to download? I am using Windows XP.
You can also call Lexmark and someone from the Philippines will give you a web addres so you can download the OCR program.
Lexmark drivers & software can be downloaded from : http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi However you can google Free OCR Software , and come up with a plethora of links of how to's and sowftware downloads
OCR programs are usually bundled with the driver disk and typically cost money. If the disk is lost, than chances are youll have to purchase an OCR program. One thing that you can try is to contact lexmark customer service and ask to send you a new copy of the disk. Be prepared to fax proof of purchase and pay shipping charges.

To scan documents for editing and saving as PDF files, you will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software on your computer. The Lexmark scan software (no downloadable version) is only available in the installation disc that came with your printer. If you don't have the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.
