The problem that you are describing is most commonly caused by the convergence IC’s and the associated circuitry. They may be damaged and need to be replaced, along with the resistors and or power supply fusible links.
The convergence IC’s are secured to a very large aluminum heat sink. If you choose to repair the set yourself, be very careful of the high voltage that can be stored in the capacitors, and CRT’s. This voltage can be as high as 30,000 volts.
I would recommend a local service center to repair your set, they may be able to give you an estimate for the repair.
