Washing Machine keeps stopping and says "water tap closed?"

Someone help please. I have a Bosch washing machine WFR 2830. It keeps stopping and saying "Water Tap Closed?".

    Thanks for the help Charlie.

    One of the hoses was bent so the water pressure wasn't right. It's working well now.

    If the faucets are turned on at the wall, I would suspect either a clogged filter screen in one of the hoses or a malfunctioning solenoid inlet valve.



    First, remove the hoses from the wall spigots and check for obstruction in the end of the hose where the filter screens are.



    Let me know what you find, please.

Your washer has 2 seperate valves for hot and cold. Sounds like the hot water solenoid valve has failed.

Bosh wasmachine doesn't was clothes
Remove hose at washer connection and check screen filter not blocked with grit from pipes. Check screen at tap end also. If both clear, machine may need water valve replaced.

Washing machine won't spin or rotate
Sounds like the motor brushes need replacing, you will have to remove the motor to do this.

"tap water closed?" message
Plug off the wall. Check the inlet tubes into your machine (after shutting off wall valve) for any blockage or clogging, both ends of the pipes. Refix carefully with correct threading. Turn on before next wash fully; and after wash turn off valve. It could also be that your wall valve is not on fully when you begin your wash.
