Usually twice during the rinse cycle the machine stops, gives a warning beep and the above message appears. I just have to press "start" and it begins running again. Any thoughts or advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Alice

Re: "tap water closed?" message
Plug off the wall. Check the inlet tubes into your machine (after shutting off wall valve) for any blockage or clogging, both ends of the pipes. Refix carefully with correct threading. Turn on before next wash fully; and after wash turn off valve. It could also be that your wall valve is not on fully when you begin your wash.

See the Dispenser assembly parts diagram for the water inlet valve. If you can watch the entire cycle, try turning off the shut-off valves for the washer inlet hoses after the rinse cycle and before the dry cycle starts. Water should not flow into the washer/dryer with the shut-offs closed.
I've seen inlet valve solenoids fail in the open position or in the closed position. I've never seen a control board that sent open messages randomly. (Sometimes, there is damage to the control board or corrosion or damaged wiring that stops the control board from sending the open/closed message to the solenoid.)
In the rinse cycle it will use cold only to rinse with.
You need to see how fast the water is going into the machine on rinse

Hi Error F02 appears after 8mins of SUDs error. Error F02 means Long drain, means washer is taking longer time than normal to drain. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. NOTE: After 4 minutes the SUD error will be displayed, and then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed. ? Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. ? Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running. ? Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. ? If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump. There are 3 small 9/32 hex head screws that hold the front panel on. Unscrew the 3 hex head screws (9/32 socket or nut driver size), now remove the front kick panel. Unscrew the white drain cap -WARNING-- lots of water will drain out when you loosen the white cap. Once all the water is out, remove and take out the filter trap. Hope this helps... Hi just read your posting.Now what I need to know is the model number of your machine which can be located on the back on a sticker.Also when it stops in the rinse cycle does an error code appear in you LCD screen if you have that model or do a series of lights come on and in both models it beeps.Now if you have the model where the lights come on they will be in a row of 8.Starting from the left to right what lights have turned on when it stops in the rinse cycle Is it the 2nd and 5th or the 3rd and 8th --etc-?Please reply with this additional information and I can help you rectify this fault for you.
while the unit is filling in the warm cycle. reach behind and shut off the hot water tap.I bet the water flow stops filling, if so, you would need to change the inlet valve on the machine. You see, in warm, if the cold is not filling, you still hear the hot filling and the unit will advance. The rinse cycles are mostly "cold" only. if the valve is not opening it will not allow it to advance from the rinse section on the board.
You said the
water entry into the machine is fine with nothing blocking it. But you keep getting the red light on for "water tap closed". At one point the
water did start flowing in but soon stopped and turn on the warning
light again. Please suggest how to fix
I believe this sounds like the screens are dirty and stopping water flow so it shuts down! Dry all of the below suggestions.
Washer displaying code message and or tone sounds “F20” (Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient water supply) First: Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or disconnect power.Leave power off for 5 minutes. This will reset the system! Check the following: Are water faucets completely turned on? *****Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged? Remove hose from washer an clean screens at water inlet! Are water inlet hoses kinked? Are water inlet hoses frozen? Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains, call for service.
