PSP 2004-PB (Saudi Arabia)

Dear Sir, my brand new PSP 2004-PB does not read / save / load games on Sony memory stick Duo Pro (1GB) some times it says card not formated (OK after re-formatting it works for a while) than again same happens !!!! Games from UMD are perfectly working. Also if I connect to PC (Same message comes on Win XP that Card to be formatted.
I checked SONY dealer; he said this console should be updated and software is not yet released by SONY ??? and he suggested me to wait..

You can update your psp by going to network update,but you need a network connection(A router and internet) for your psp.

I didn't know that HP built computers with card slots that support MS pro duo. Try getting a mini-usb cable, leaving the card in your psp, and plug the PSP into your computer. Make sure you set the PSP to connect using the USB first, though.

No source will read my memory stick pro duo mark 2

Try re-formatting your memory stick from your PSP console. A memory stick that is formatted from a PC or other hand held console sometimes cause incompatibility problem with the PSP.
If your PSP still can not read the memory stick, try checking your memory stick by using your friends PSP and see if they can access the memory stick.
If the memory stick can be accessed by your friends PSP then there is a problem with the memory slot of your PSP.
The only way to check the contacts of the memory slot of your PSP is to disassemble you PSP and take out the mother board.

I have a memory stck inserted i formatted it on my psp

that is it . there is no enough space for your demanded progress . that means you should buy more space next time . rate please !

Hi sir

Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com

2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.
