You can try recovery tool to see whether your memory card corrupted or not. For example, 4Card Recovery, which is able to recover various files in a few minutes.
Step one, download 4Card Recovery online and install it on your computer.
Step two, run it and choose the files that you want to recover, of course, you can choose recover all files in case of the omission of anything.
Step three, scan it by clicking the 'next' button and wait for about ten minutes.
Step four, save the recovered files on other part to avoid losing it again.
Hope you can solve the problem with this. Have a try.

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver

if this fails to fix the problem

use CMD
this will differ depending on your operating system

click 'start'
run
type "CMD" using xp

click start type in "CMD" press ENTER using windows 7

the type ''xcopy e:\source_folder f:\destination_folder /e /i /h
'' <-- this is only an example!

The /h is just in case there are hidden files. or

click start control panel scroll to folder options view place a tick in show hidden files folders and drives

The /i creates a destination folder if there are multiple source files.

after you copy files from memory stick
reformat your memory stick (too refresh all the memory)
then, after reformat.. goto your backup folder then copy all the files you backed up and paste to their ORIGINAL Folders! :D

hope this helps
