Hi. I have a bosche front loader. At the moment when I was white clothing/ sheets i am getting brown/ orange stains - they sometimes seem like soap buildup marks but more recently seem like scorch marks or rust marks. What is wrong with my machine

If,like most people, you are washing at 30-40c there may be a scum build up between the drums. This can be cured by doing several 90c washes to clean it out.Bosch themselves call this a maintenance wash.

What's your problemI have an inglis royal 100 model 1a 86600 The white clothes come out with brown stains on them. It is old but seems to work well. Could it be the front gasket around the drum? I

there either is a rust mark on the tub or under the agitator oil could be leaking out or metal is rotting where the tranny shaft comes up under the agitator but like you said it's old and parts are starting to rust out and decay

Grey spots on our white clothes after wash

do you use affresh to clean your front loader? deposits of soap and other such things can be stuck around the inside tub of your washer. try this porduct out it works great on all front loaders use hot water with the affresh pellet with no clothes and run the machine through a cycle this also helps with any stagnant water smells also have you cleaned out your pump lately. * note remeber to put the pellet on the inside of the machine not in the soap dispenser

Bosch maxx classic washing machine doesn't clean clothes

There are a lot of things to consider when trying to solve this problem. Obviously a front loader washes differently than a top loader. Top loaders tend to using a washing motion that is good for stains but wear out your clothes fast. Front loaders typically use less water and wash more gently, but in some ways still do better than top loaders. Anyway, think about any other variables that go into the laundry equation. Consider the distance the machine is from your water heater. This machine will use MUCH less water to fill than your old one, and, you know how when you turn a faucet on hot it takes a minute for the hot water to actually get there? It's the same way with your machine. If there's a sink next your washer, you should always turn on the hot water on the faucet until it gets hot right before you start the machine. The same goes for dishwashers. If there's not a sink close you can easily turn up the temperature for all hot water on your water heater, although that will use more energy.
Consider what detergent you're using. If you're using high efficiency detergent (like Tide he) maybe you should switch to your old brand. If you're using your old brand of detergent, try getting a high efficiency detergent.

Clothes are not clean How can I take washer aprt to clean soap dispenser???

Make sure you are washing at the correct temp, and that you have the correct prog selected for what you are washing. and that you have suficient powder and or detergent in. Check to see if the water is getting hot, because if it is not , then the heater may not be working, and then your clothes will not be clean.
Hope this helps with your prob.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Front loading washer leaves stains

This often is called "lint" but is really a "whiting" left by un-dissolved soap and can be seen at it's worst on dark colored clothes. This is made worse in a colder climate where the cold water entering the washer is much colder than normal. Things that can effect the quality of the finished washed products.
Too much soap: ( we have a test for this further down the page ) If you follow the manufactures instructions on the box, then chances are you ARE using too much soap. They like to sell you their product, I find cutting usage in 1/2 of what the box says will still wash good and also cut your chances of getting "whiting" on your clothes.

Frigidaire Gallery front load washer Model # GL2F1240ASO

The solution to this problem was embarassingly simple. I had the spin cycle set on "Fast" as it seemed to stabilize the washer. Just for something to try, I switched it back to "Normal" and voila - no more brown stains. Haven't got a clue why.

Whirlpool duet front loader washer/dryer

It is not the dryer causing the problem. We get the brown streaks on our white clothes before putting them in the dryer. I have ruined more white clothes over the past six months with this Duet washing machine!!! We also don't use bleach so I don't think it is the HE/Clorox combo that somebody mentioned earlier. Anybody know what exactly is causing this yet... before I throught the moldy stain causing Whirlpool duet out?

Smelly clothes

A solution from the internet:
Make a boil wash (with no clothes and detergents) put into the powder drawer a cup of bicarbonate of soda.
It should clean the machine and move out the bad smell.

Another:
I have a front loading machine also and am not willing to have to constantly clean out the machine; the soap and fabric softeners you use are building up between the inner and outer drums (and on the drum itself sometimes). Because the machines door is so tightly sealed (to prevent water leakage) the smell from this buildup is awful. I finally found the solution.
MAGGIE'S SOAP NUTS -- they are all natural (grow on trees) and will remove the grime from your drum and also clean your clothes (you won't even need fabric softener anymore). Stop using commercial detergents and fabric softeners and start using Maggie's Soap Nuts.
They are not very cheap but they work great --
I have found that making a liquid out of the soap nuts and storing it in a bottle works better than putting them in the sack cloth they come with (because front loaders do not agitate constantly like regular machines, the cloth bag sits on the clothes and sometimes leaves a stain -- the liquid will not leave a stain.
YOU WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM AND HAVE SOFTER CLOTHES TO BOOT (without fabric softener so you save some money there). They are also better for septic tanks, the environment and your health!
I believe Whole Foods sells them and they are also on the internet at www.Maggiessoapnuts.com

Note: Also go to www.newstarget.com -- they are going to buy these in bulk to cut the cost in half but don't have them yet. You should be able to buy them there soon.
Note: Forgot to tell you to run some of this thru your machine with hot water before washing your clothing to clean out the buildup that is already in the machine
And dont forget to rate me pl. Merry Xmas to you too.
