I have the same problem with my Motorola Razor v3. It is only a few months old and was fine last night but this morning half my screen is white lines. I removed the battery for a couple of minutes but it didn't resolve the problem.

Try removing the battery and reinserting it, that would remove those lines which were also caused by my 2-year old. I had no idea how he did it. When i remove the battery it fixes for a long time.

Typically problems with your screen comes down to Battery problems. so try replacing that first. Remember with any new battery you need to let it fully charge and fully die twice before normal charging. If that doesn't fix the problem check the ribbons and the connections inside the phone. YOU MIGHT WANT A PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS FOR YOU!!!! At this point if it still doesn't work start saving for a new phone cause your LCD is either blown or a major fix that will cost lots of money.

SOURCE: Drop Razr and inside display screen is white

there is 1 or 2 flex cables in the phone on the flip part. ( display board) you an check & make sure those are properly seated. open the flip you will find 1 small round piece of rubber in each corner underneath is a torx 5 or 6 screw. remove those. then very gently using a flat screwdriver. pry appart the phone. u must start at the hinges. on both. sides. with the screws out, only 4 clips hold the cover on. hope this helps.

SOURCE: White screen on Motorola RAZR

I had this problem too. My razrs screen would just go white every 15 minutes maybe, and i would have to turn it off and back on.There was a white line at the bottom of the screen also, so i went to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=&language=&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=US%20Cellular&strPhone=V3c&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable and downloaded thee software update. after it was finished the white line went away the screen never went white and it fixed everything!

White screen on Motorola RAZR

I use to work for Cingular Wireless and this happened often. Try opening and closing the handset a little forcefully. It should re-seat the screen onto the contacts. If that doesnt help, have it replaced since its new. Best of Luck.

I lost my display on 30th april 2007 without a hint. Have been using the phone for nearly 1 1/2 years without any problem. The battery seems to be not so strong, shall try with the battery cleaning etc. Is this a standard problem with the MOTOROLLA V3? Cheers Bevanie
