Help with cannon printer

Usually when a printer loops the pages likes that it is a software problem. I've had experiences when the print spooler is defected and keeps the page lopping in that manner. It was probably a good thing you deleted that printer. By reinstalling it, you shoud be able to fix that problem.

Here's how to reinstall it: Windows XP and Windows Vista will automatically recognize your model. Make sure that your printer is connected via the USB cable and power it on.

When connecting it, a window should pop up telling you that windows has detected new hardware. Follow the prompts and it should install correctly.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to do it manually. Go to the Control Panel from the start menu.

Select, "Printer" from the hardware menu. There should be a button near the top that says, "Add a Printer."

Choose, "Add a Local printer" and follow the prompts.

If you can't get it, let me know what operating system you are running and I will give you some pictures showing you step by step.

First remove the USB lead from the Laptop, then go to the control palel/printers and faxes and delete the printer if listed.

Than go to add/remove programmes and remove any HP software installed.

Reboot and reinstall drivers and software connect the printer when asked to by the install prog.

I'm presuming you have the correct drivers for your OS if not go here and download them
