PS3 FREEZING My ps3 keeps freezing after i play a game/dvd for about 10 seconds..I dont know what the problem is..I have no music,Videos or demos on it so it shouldnt be doing this..If you know whats wrong please contact my email.

If it's freezing during game play it probably needs a new blu ray laser installed. If you do a search on YouTube there are lots of videos showing how to change the laser.

Sorry, i dont have a solution for the freezing, but, as for freeing up some space; If you have alot off music of videos on there delete them and run them off of a portable USB device (USB key works, but so does and iPod). Do the same with music. Another solution is to delete some of your saved game files. Under the games section on the XMB, there is something called game data or similar to that. Delete some of the files from games you don't play anymore. Also delete game demos you have finished with. These will be located in the very bottom folder under Games. Freeing up some hardrive space may also help with your freezing problem.

Try using a can of air to blow out the fan area. Even though its well ventilated it may be full of dust. It sounds like an overheating issue. Also look into aftermarket fan/cooling solutions, that dont plug directly into the PS3 and have there own outlet power plug.

My ps3 freezes up every when I am playing Madden 09 and its getting real old. I have to quit my game every time because there is no other way to fix it other than quiting. It doesnt freeze all the time but it has started to alot more a few days ago. Is there something I can do about this?
