Hi william, you may need to install updated drivers that are compatible with your os.
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop. Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done

It sounds as though you have a leaking toner cartridge. If you aren't using Lexmark brand toner, that is VERY likely.. nobody seems to be able to make a good compatible cartridge. Test by replacing it.

You may can find an updated driver at lexmark
It has been my experience when adding a device not compatible it creates problems elsewhere
Remembermif it does cause problems you can always restore back prior to installing

I need printer drivers for my lexmark Z33 printer to work on windows 7
i am pretty sure that this driver is compatable with windows 7. I did a search and it looks like you should just be able to plug it into your computer and windows 7 should install it.

I have been given a lexmark x75, with no instructions how do i install this
It would be better if you install the software/driver first in your computer. The software also shows you the instructions on how to setup the printer itself. Here are the drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. Just click on the driver compatible with your computer's operating system.
- Lexmark X75 AIO Printer driver for Mac OS X, Mac OS X 10.1, Mac OS X 10.1.5, Mac OS X 10.2, Mac OS X 10.2.1, Mac OS X 10.2.8, Mac OS X 10.3.x, and Mac OS X 10.4.x.
- Custom Driver for Microsoft Windows 2000
- Driver for Microsoft Windows XP
These are the only available drivers. That means the printer is not compatible with Mac 10.5, Mac 10.6, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
For additional information, here's the Setup Sheet (Lexmark X74, X75) and the User's Guide (Lexmark X74, X75) . Hope this helps.

What driver can I download for Mac
The Dell 720 is in essence a Lexmark Z605 but is compatible only with Windows 2000 and newer Windows systems. The 720s are not Mac-compatible. The Lexmark website does, however, show Mac compatibility. This does not guarantee the Lexmark driver will work automatically with the Dell 720, but using workarounds there are some reports of success.
One might assume that the Lexmark Z605 drivers will work with the Dell 720, but that is not necessarily the case.

Lexmark x1270 all in one inkjet printer not communicating with my vista operating system. Can't print. What can I do to correct this. I bought new processor that came with Vista O S. Lexmark x1270 software...
If the Lexmark software is not compatible with Vista, there is nothing you can do. Lexmark is telling you the the driver code does not play well with with the O/S.

Sometimes if you know of a comparable HP printer you can use that driver to talk to our printers but there may be some odd-problems that surface.


The best thing to do is to purchase a Lexmark printer that is compatible with Vista. It not uncommon for printer to be abandoned as the code grows more and more complex.
