It's a bit late, as I guess you have moved by now!

The best way to drain fully is to remove the outlet hose and let the machine lean backwards against an outside wall so that all water drains out.

SOURCE: drain line lg tromm

its a pretty complicated process to take off the front panel, you will need special tools for this problem, i would bring it to a professional, the easist way is to lay it on the back side and go from there, if not like stated above bring it to a pro.

ps:drain lines hardly go bad on LG's hmm,if it's leaking then it might be the internal supply lines on the top.

just a hint,

SOURCE: wont drain

I would guess that the impeller has come off the pump motor shaft. You can disassemble and push it back on, but it will come off again. I don't know if some type of adhesive would work, but I just replace the pump motor.
Drain water from small drain hose (or by removing filter) Remove the screw in the plastic recess by the filter, then use a putty knife on the left or right side to pop out the recess. Remove two more screws holding pump body to front frame of washer. Pull washer about 18 inches away from wall and tilt it back to lean against wall. There is a plastic locking tab holding the pump body to the plastic washer base, but don't worry if you break that, as the screws (removed earlier) will hold the pump back on just fine. Pump motor is held onto pump body with three more screws. Replace pump motor with a new one and reassemble. On a difficulty scale of 1 -10, this one might rate a 3.5 or a 4. Not too bad.

SOURCE: lg front load washer leaking from bottom of machine

I just fixed this problem - there is a rubber hose that hooks the bottom of the drum to the drain and recycle pumps - it is ribbed and it developed a hole. To confirm and repair (repair can be done from the front of the machine)

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Drain whatever water you can from the machine using the stoppered hose behind the bottom left panel
  3. Unscrew the visible screw holding the plastic in place near the drain hose and filter
  4. If you can pull the plastic recessed piece out, there is one screw visible behind it - unswcrew this. If you cannot pull it out now, you should be able to get it after you remove the screws in step 10
  5. Pull out the detergent drawer (push in the middle back "botton" to release the drawer to pull out fully)
  6. Unscrew two screws in the drawer area.
  7. Pull the top of the electronics assembly away from the machine and lift the assembly out (place on top of the machine or hook it out of the way)
  8. Open the door and remove the spring loaded wire around the door seal (be careful as the seal can be torn)
  9. Pull the seal away from the metal front panel, then close the door
  10. Remove four screws at the top of the front panel (that were behind the eletronics assembly) - If you already have removed the screw from step 4, proceed, otherwise lean the top of front panel out and pop the plastic out, hold panel in place and remove that bottom screw from step 4.
  11. Lift front panel about two inches, swing the entire front panel to the right and set against something - You should now be able to see inside the machine.
  12. There is a black hose right in the middle - when I squeezed mine a little, I could see where the water was dripping out from the bottom.
  13. There are three clamps - two that can be squeezed with pliers and removed, one that has to be unscrewed (phillips head screw - it is a bit blind as the screw faces the back of the machine) - Once I got mine off - I could see the hole.
  14. Order replacement and reassmble in the opposite order

SOURCE: washer is showing "TE" error even after replacing the thermistor

Try pressing spin speed and soild level at the same time. Is the temperature about 10 degrees C over the the selected temperature? If no, then try replacing the main board.

Also make sure the thermister isn't loose. That could cause your problem.

If the main board doesn't fix it, then you have to replace the heater assembly.

Im actually looking the the service manual your unit as we speak.

There is something in between the drum and housing. We have drained the washer and cleaned the filter still it is still there.

it seems like the drum will have to be removed to get to the offending object. it is probably stuck between the seal and drum, like a coin.
