I do have my cd to nstall my canonpixma mx300 to my pc

hello, make sure that you are connected to the internet then turn on the printer plug the usb cable from printer to the computer then the computer detect the printer if ask to update driver to the internet click next then wait till it finish installing the driver

First You must install "MP Navigator EX" program to your Pc..and then you can control every feature of the scanner from your computer..(not from scanner...)
This program normally comes with the MX300 as CD ,if not you can download from Canon support page....Good luck..Regards

1. keep connect your printer and switch on,
2. re-install vista
3. it will detect all ports automatically and fix it
4. thru this u can find solution for your problem..
5. if vista ask for the driver, then install your printer driver from cd

all the best... try it

First make sure you download the right driver/software for MX300 according to your OS. Then with the printer connected to the computer u can proceed:
press the scan button on the printer
then on your pc click my computer and u should then see the printer scanner at the end, right click on that and you will get the scan option.

I too couldn't do it for a bit then kept fiddling till i was able to and I have Windows XP.
