Hello Bishaw motors hs, Sadly,this unit is made for Japan ONLY. The FM frequencies are not compatible and neither is the map or GPS. There is also no way to change to English. Carrozzeria does a poor job of informing customers of this problem. The radio is superior to many but completely useless outside of Japan. You will want to send it back to them. Sorry. You can't directly plug in the Aux cable. The mini-plug for the AVH-285 is on the back of the receiver but it handles both audio and video from a composite source. (Note: this position means that it isn't easily reached when from the passenger compartment.) You do need the CD-RM10 composite A/V to mini-plug adapter. The mini-plug port is between the video output and the rear/subwoofer outputs on the receiver. See page 35 of the manual for the picture. If your Aux input device has a 3.5 mm audio out (headphone jack), you'll also need a 3.5 mm (F) to RCA (M/M) adapter.
