Assuming that you replaced the plates in the correct order and tightened the springs correctly, have you replaced the oil with the right viscosity and type. Note using general oil other than that designed for motorcycles will cause a clutch to slip.

SOURCE: clutch pulling

Your clutch is not fully disengaging.Adjust the cable at the lever until you have plenty of free play. Then adjust the cable at the motor until you have full engagement then readjust lever to 3/8 in play.Fine tune at the motor. It may take a few trys but you can get it.

SOURCE: 1991 rm 125 clutch springs torque

The clutch springs are not the problem. Check to see if all parts were installed as shown below. The clutch plates alternate Fiber/steel/fiber/steel, starting and ending with a fiber. Be sure the teeth on the clutch rack are pointing to the rear.

SOURCE: how to remove the clutch from my kdx 200

The simple way to do it is borrow an electric impact gun. (1/2" drive) If you jam something in there you can damage things.

Yamaha royal star motorcycle cluch whine and shudder in 4th and 5th gear at any speed

It is slipping. These big yamahas normally have slipping clutches. Mine slips, I've just learned to baby the clutch. Make sure you are in the most comfortable gear for the speed you are running at. Avoid rolling on full power at low speeds in higher gears. It's the nature of these great beasts. Clutch springs are too weak in these bikes, you may consider an aftermarket clutch spring assembly. The "shudder"(intermittent slipping) is caused by glazing. Make sure you are using the right lubricants for your bike, some synthetics can cause problems.

1)Adjust clutch cable correctly, check
2)Pull the clutch assembly apart, if there is little wear then you have "glazed" plates, clean each plate with 600 grit sandpaper and reassemble...get a new clutch spring assembly (weakened spring causes "shudder", slippage, and consequently glazing). Reassemble and adjust correctly (many forums out there with info).
3)Replace the full assembly and adjust correctly at setup. Adjust regularly....I check adjustment about every 300-500 miles.
4)Pay a shop to do these things for you.

Transmission slipping in 2nd gear under hard acceleration

You need to replace the clutch plates. Once they start to slip you won't be able to readjust them with any success. Take a good look at both fiber clutch plates and the metal ones. You can replace just the fiber plates and it most likely won't slip anymore, but if you replace both fiber and metal plates it will last much longer. If you are on a budget and want to temporary repair it you can add washers to the clutch springs to add tension. Use spark plug washers, they fit perfect. I've done this on a couple of motorcycles with good results. But i do recommend replacing the clutch plates as i stated above.

Clutch was slipping real bad, changed gears just fine. Took it to a garage, installed new clutch kit, Drove it home still slipping, so I replaced slave cylinder, great for about a week started slipping...

check the clutch linkage and make sure it'd not binding and di you replace the pressure plate? if not then it will need to be replace to stop the slipping if the linkage is not sticking or jamming. If the pressure plate springs are broke it would cause it to slip, also if the master cylinder is not releasing this could cause it to slip.

The clutch slips in first gear when it is hot.

You need a new clutch again. Sorry to give ya the bad news. This time make sure they put a new transmission seal in so fluid can not leak onto the clutch plate and ruin it.

Clutch slipping

Clutch plates are probably toasted. Drain the oil, remove the cover where the clutch cable goes into and check them out. Not hard to replace but you do need a special tool to get the plates off/on.

Clutch slips

Old fluid or improper type. Doesn't the Sporty use the SportTrans fluid in the year? Other than that, maybe time for new clutch plates. Or the clutch spring may have lost it's spring.
