SHARP R-8570 MICROWAVE BLOWN FUSE DO U NEED TO REPLACE HOLDER

You need to know why the fuse blew first. two places that will cause the fuse to blow is excessive current being drawn from a shorted winding in the transformer or a bad magnetron unit. If the holder is loose, pinch the metal parts that contact the end of the fuse slightly to restore proper contact with the fuse.

HELLO,I have a sharp microwave

Looks like you just have to take off the outer cover. From the parts diagram I looked at this looks like a counter top unit. If so, unplug the unit and then remove the outer cover and then locate the lamp and replace it. Looks pretty easy to get to.

How to remove sharp r-1440 microwave oven from wall.

I am not positive about this specific model but on a good amount of the Sharps I have worked on in the past they typicall have long screws that go from the top front of the units to the back of the unit where they screw into the plate mounted to the wall. If you remove the plastic vent along the top front of the unit above the door a lot of the time you will find screws there that you loosen to lay the machine toward you and then you have to lift it off of the bracket and take it out. Good Luck

Microwave has no power

Sounds like a power board malfunction. Repair technicians usually have a minimum "bench fee" probably $50 - $75 / hour but they should be able to fix it within that hour. You will also have to purchase the power board, probably around $100 so you're probably talking about $165.00 to have it repaired. Good Luck

My Sharp microwave convection oven

Also the fact it is a convection oven could mean the oven temperature sensor is not picking up the oven temp. it is not telling the machine it is there by the board seeing its resistance, the unit will shut off as a safety feature. The oven sees temperature by reading the value of a temperature dependent resistor. As the temperature changes so does the value of the component ( oven temp sensor) that way the unit determines the temperature inside the unit. Sometimes those sensors will break since they are in the area with the heat and moisture, they get old and break.

Timer section is fubar. Reset the electronics to factory defaults and see if that cures the issue. If not, the timer section needs to be replaced.

The screw in the right filter area that is (approx. 12-13 inches has come loose. I have tried to put in back in place......no luck.Would it be advisable to take oven off the wall? OR, does anyone know

Those screws screw into the support plate mounted onto the wall behind the unit. would guess it is not lining up for some reason or the hole is stripped out. Would have to remove the unit from the wall to inspect the mounting plate and make sure the hole are not stripped out. Lookt at the end of the bolt. do the threads look clean and not pulled or stripped???

Sharp R959SLMA

Could be arcing around HV transformer or even an HV wire, Sometimes an insulator on a capacitor will get old, dusty or breakdown and arc between the terminals. Have you ran this with the cover off to see if you can see any visual arcing??? If it cooks sure sounds like it is probably not the mag. Something supplying power to the mag arcing to ground I would expect.
