I don't feel its the fuse
normally the fuse is inside the vacuum.

the problem you facing could be your power cable broken somewhere inside, if not this then something inside the vacuum
could be the motor itself

Just go out and get a new charger to replace the one with defective wire/plug.

It may be your switch needs to be replaced

Fuse issue to be sure.

You should be able to take the top off. Look on the sides. There should be a bunch of small screws. Unscrew them and lift the top off. You should be able to access the DVD once the top is off. Then just put the top back on and screws the screws back in.

Yep, you are correct! Unfortunately, it's probably time to get a new one. I wish I had better news for ya.

there should be a panel on one side of the shaver, use your nail to open it and simply replace with same size batteries.

This is usually a safety feature so it doesnt burn itself. If there is a lot of hair in there try pulling it out, and if there is a little try with it too, if you can try get it out with something. If you think there isnt any in there anymore, try to turn it on LOW. There isnt really much you can do if the filter doesnt come out other than take it apart- if thats your thing. Yes-- This is the big disadvantage of this type of Vacuum--
Stones and sand wear heavily on that impeller turning a very high rate of speed.

This can be a tricky job----- depending on how long this fan has been on the motor shaft-- and if water has been passed thru this joint--
-- It will take a complete disassembly of the power section of this vacuum--
(I have seen a few times, when the impeller could be just hit a solid blow in the 'un-tightening direction, and the impeller spun right off- -- Very god, if you can get that response! :-) )

Most of the time one has to tear the motor apart, and get a solid grip on the armature (Clamping it firmly-- but gently in a vise -- and then beating on the impeller to remove it.

Naturally-- you would need to have the correct impeller ready to spin right back on the shaft-- for the old impeller will be ruined in removal. Be sure to put some 'never-seize' on the thread, to make it easier to remove NEXT time!

Make sure c/d are as clean as can be also you can buy a c/d Lens cleaner cheaply to put in there....This works well

1.With the AC power unit plugged in to the wall plug into your dvd player and wiggle it a little bit and see if the light goes on or off. If so the the power port is bad. 2.Try a different wall outlet to see if it helps. 3.Ensure there are no cuts or rips in the power cord. 4.If you have done the following steps and the cord looks good it may be your battery on the dvd player itself. 5.If the battery is defective you may need to purchase a new one, keep in mind you may need to purchase another dvd player if you are unable to locate the battery seperatly. 6.I would suggest contacting the manufacture and see if you could get just the battery. Hope this helps.

i cant solve your problem but can explain what is happening...
i've had 3 phillips marathon vacuums over the last 5-6 years and are by far the best vacuum on the market..
but over time the constant pulling and re-coiling of the flex is loosening the wires from their connectors deep inside the unit ...
its the only explaination i can think of ,as i've changed the fuse , the plug and shortened the flex and re attached the plug but to no avail..hope this helps, just buy a new one they're brilliant

Check from the power cord line to the switch and further the continuity from the switch to the motor. There is no difficulty to check this out but for the trouble to open the unit. So check by logic if the cord is damaged then check into the switch and motor. If power comes to the motor check for the brush contacts, the commutator wearing or the capacitor,
