M having sandisk sansa express mp3 player...wenevr i sitch on the player it showz me sandisk logo n doesnt move forward and it frezzes with that logo...what to do when it hang up in between anytime expect inserting the player in comp..plz help me..
Its easy, first must to connect de mp3 player to the computer with "hold" and holding the (-) volumen button press, do this until the computer ask to search drivers on the internet, say yes, after installation download the next file http://mp3support.sandisk.com/firmware/express/express01.01.05a.zip
unzip and run SansaExpressUpdater.exe, then the program gonna a ask to format your mp3 player, say yes and let it repair your player.
Is really easy, but, is hard to me write in english, so, i hope you understand, any cuestion go to this direction (is in spanish, if you can read spanish is gonna be more easy repair your mp3 player):

My express just quit working...its not installing the device on the computer. I can restart it only but it will just shut down again..HELP!!!!!
hai i have a sansa express but its not fine for the past one month
. While switching on the player it shows just the logo ans gets switched off . Now its not even showing that.It just shows a crash like symbol. AND I AM REALLY WORRIED WITH IN A 2 MONTHS THIS HAPPENED.AND MOREOVER I MISSED MY DRIVER CD FOR THIS. It just turns on then right off. More over its behavior plugged in is different for my XP, my Vista, and my Ubuntu. But that could also be motherboard related but I don't think it is. I can't get the drive to mount onto any of those systems.
My 1GB Sansa Express Mp3 is not working. The SanDisk logo comes on adn goes off when I connect to computer or even on power on.
I have downloaded the firmware upgrade from the link mentioned in
the above comment and tried upgrading. But I am it is not upgrading the firmware. The steps I followed are

2. I have first connected the mp3 player to the computer with "hold" and holding the (-) volumen button press, do this until the computer ask to search drivers.
3.Once the installation is completed, i have clicked on finish button.
4. Then I have run the exe SansaExpressUpdater.exe. But this exe is not doing anything. Its not upgrading the firmware.
Please let me know whether the steps I followed are proper, and suggest me.
