I am getting the er dh code. It sounds like the problem is the controller assembly but how do you replace the controller assembly? Where is it located on the refrigerator? We have a model 106.74202402 top freezer refridgerator that a tech told us needed an evaporator motor. He hasn't shown up as scheduled although the motor was mailed to us. The diagram in the manual shows the part but not how to get to it. I've given up on their service techs and need to know how to get to the motor to replace it. I have removed the sliding shelf in the freezer but don't see any screws other than the ones on top. It looks like the ice maker might also have to be removed if these screws are removed. When the shelf was removed it looks like burn marks near the cover. I'm not sure if the motor is the problem or if we have had a short in the wiring leading to it.
I had the same ER DH error code, and my
refrigerator began to warm up. I replaced the defrost thermostat
assembly part # 6615JB2005H which is located inside the freezer, on the
right side behind the white plastic panel. I accessed it by removing
the freezer door, all components inside the freezer, and the tracks
mounted on the sides of the freezer. Be careful when removing the white
panel because a fan is mounted to the left side of the white panel and
plugs into the back left side of the freezer compartment.
Found the green technical data sheets under the refrigerator in a small plastic bag near the front.
Go to the link below for repairing your fridge. The motor needs to be replaced.

The defrost timer is often located at the bottom of the refrigerator, near the front and behind the kick plate.
Try first unplugging th power cable for ten minutes to see if this clears the error.
On this site you find directions on error message:

The error means the termic switch that control freezer defrost is not working.
Sometimes it restart working when you perform a complete defrost, leaving appliance unplugged overnight.
If not the part must be replaced.
On this website you find replacements for your model.
If you need a repairman you can call the number listed on the fridge user manual.
Test the termic switch in the freezer for continuity, on the post reported before said it was that, how do you know is the evaporator?
In any case if evaporator has gone the thermistor may have gone after it.
By the way you can get part details and complete diagrams at Partselect, give me the right model number, the ones posted did not work, see here how to ger model number.
If you input right model number in Partselect you get the diagrams showing you how to access the part.
