A red/pink streaks or tint is a indication that the CCFL lamp about to fail. The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube. The wires on existing CCFL lamp requires unsoldering and the new CCFL lamp soldered back on to these wires.
Replacement CCFL lamps for your model monitor are available from this WEB site.

VW? what is this VW? prefix? VX or VG is common,
Im guessing VX
the manual has no word "dual" in it,so that is perplexing.
are you attempting dual displays on 1 PC, (unstated PC)
yes, /no
the VX has 3 inputs ports, dvi, vga and HDMI
i guess the VGA port fails.
why not use VGA to DVI adapter, even as a test. dirt cheap too.

why not test any monitor on 2 PC'S Not just 1.
then you learn if the monitor is good or bad, in one simple step.?
why ask this? you told me HDMI works so why not use HDMI.
or does the VGA port must work for other computers, we dont know how any one uses monitors, the possibles are endless.
even as service monitor, ok?

if the VGA fails on 2 PCs, (it spec resolution) the port is bad.
RGB,
did you reset the monitor first, do the OSD reset stated in the manual. sure worth a shot that....
called RECALL in the manual please read the manual. page 15.

HP L1950 DISPLAY MESSAGE NO DVI INPUT

in this situation, there are two options. 1.The device connected to your TV via DVI cable is off. 2. DVI cable connected to the HP L1950 is burned.
if you try to connect a device to the HP L1950, it has two ways to connect:
Input Signal - Two connectors: one 15-pin mini D-sub analog VGA and one DVI-D. Try VGA them.

A blue display box continually pops up with Input Select D sub DVI. I am thinking it is something to do with the monitor. What is wrong?

This monitor has two types of video inputs, a 15 pin VGA D-sub connector and a DVI connector.
If the video card has a 15 pin D-Sub then connect the video cable to the 15 pin D-Sub connector on the monitor.
If the video connectors are DVI then connect the video card and monitor with a DVI video cable.
You will also need to configure the monitor for either the D-Sub or DVI video input.

Hi, I have bought LG LCD ld310 . Can I connect my computer output to lcd tv through dvi-hdmi cable or vga-hdmi cable Thanks Jatinder Kumar

Hi Jatinder Kumar ,
Yes you can connect your computer output to lcd tv through dvi-hdmi cable or vga-hdmi cable.
1. Connect to HDMI (DVI) : just plug in HDMI (DVI) out of PC or laptop to HDMI or DVI TV. Than select source from HDMI.
2. Connect to PC : Plug D sub to TV, select PC in.

I hope that will help you.
thanks.

Hi, How do u do?
I guess data cable is not connected, double check the data cable, and try to set the display input manually, (if u user a D-SUB cable, set it to analog/D-SUB, if u use a DVI cable set it to digital/DVI).
Try this and keep in touch with me. Best Wishes Babak

My VP930B monitor screen is so distorted that you can barely see what is there. Once in a great while the picture will suddenly be perfect! The monitor and tower both have a DVI-i dual connectors , but my...

Could be. You can try using the VGA port just for a test. Connect it to a friends computer or a laptop. also, there is the following solution for unusual problems on the VP930B:

It is caused by bad capacitors in the power supply circuit.

Open the monitor, and look at the power board. There are six capacitors. Replace the 220uF @ 25V and the 1000uF @ 16V capacitors. I would recommend replacing them with 35V and 25V capacitors respectively.

If the serial number on your monitor starts with Q8H you could also have a bad IC on the main board. Q8 on the main board is an FET in an IC package. If this problem persists solder a wire from the right side to the left side. There is one pin that turns the IC on and off. All the other pins (per side) are soldered together. Do not solder the pin on the left side that is by itself. Just leave it. Solder ALL the other pins on the left to ALL the other pins on the right.

Remember, do this ONLY if the problem persists after replacing the capacitors AND if your serial number starts with Q8H.

Green tint to picture when dvi cable is connected

The tv will show correctly in 720p mode. Cable box and PS3 must be set to display in 720p or the green tint will remain. For the PS3 I return it to 1080p when I am about to play a game, blu-rays and dvd's can only play in 720p.
