When I depress my water dispenser, no water comes out, but water comes pouring out the back of the fridge from the drain tube. Ice maker works fine. Replaced the water valve unit and solenoids. Replaced water filter. Cleaned compressor and coils. Defrosted fridge for 2 days. Checked voltage on solenoids. Ice maker readz 121 volts. Water dispener reads 10.8 volts. What's going on. Can't find anyone else with water pouring out of drain tube like a faucet turned on high when water dispensor is depressed. Help?! :)

For water not dispensing problem:----------

There possibility is ice blockage in the water fill tube. There is a tube from which the water runs and enters the water dispenser. If this tube is blocked then water will not flow, when you depress the water dispenser paddle. The tube needs to be defrosted, by using hair dryer. This procedure melts the ice collected in the tube and water starts running again. But if water fill tube is completely clear and no ice blockage or any other blockage. Then other possibility is water valve .This water valve is for letting the water. The main water valve the back of the fridge section. This main valve lets the water enter the refrigerator.This water valve is a twin valve.This valve has two tubes in it.One for water dispenser and one for ice maker chamber.The one side of valve is working, but other side of the valve is not working.The valve is got stuck in one position, so ice maker side is working, but water dispenser side is not working.--------

The valve is not a costly part and can be easily replaced.-----------------

Take a look at your compressor relay. When they go bad they make the same clicking noise.

the water valve on the back of the fridge has malfunctioned.

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into icemaker . If it freezes and does not dump , replace the icemaker . Check to make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , pet hair , etc . If it does dump , and does not refill with water , replace the water inlet valve ( piece behind refrig where the wall water line connects to on the fridge ) . Check to make sure the fill tube that fills the icemaker is not blocked with ice , still indicating a bad water inlet valve ( slow seep ) .

Check the water valve at the back of the fridge if present.

Even if you used blowdryer, ensure that linse are not frozen by performing a complete defrost.

Disconnect water lines from icemaker, and blow with compressor if the above did not work.

You need to remove the bottom two baskets, or more to make space. Using a hairdryer, defrost the back area. You should be able to locate a drain hole in the center below the freezer coils. This drain hole is connected on the outside to a drainpipe which has a p trap and often gets blocked up. You need to force water down the drain hole. You can use a turkey baster or similar type of plunger filled with water. Once you have cleared the blockage pour hot water till it runs freely. turn the freezer side to zero fridge side will zero also . click for water it should work . just worked for me no water for 1month replaced the filter and everything.

I believe the tube that pours water into the icemaker tray is clogged with frozen water and can not fill the tray and your fridge can not make ice. You have to unplug your fridge and let the tube to defrost. It is a long tube (about 1.5 foot) and using a blow dryer may not do the job. You can unscrew the the gray plastic cover at the back of the fridge and pull out the tube and let it defrost and then put it back.
