i have the same problem i belive its the av port becuse when i connect my hdmi the picture came upi have the same problem i belive its the av port becuse when i connect my hdmi the picture came up
Turn off system via hard switch in the back , turn back on while pressing and holding the power button in front, this will reset the vid settings on the PS3 to 480i. From there you can reset your settings.

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

um u should turn your tv off for like 10 minutes , i think yourr tv is a internet tv so let it cool sometimes sony internet tvs freeze with black screen so try it out. good luck :)
Just watching a movie and my archos just froze in mid play , did a switch off to rest it and guess what it wont restart , ses ARCHOS in green at the start but wont reeboot have tried the reset button inside but no joy what so ever , any tips or advice 'or shall i just ship it back to Archos ....

Jenkins is right holding the power button down will reset the PS to factory defaults i had to do this when i was installing linux...
