Whenthe dishwasher is not filling, it is your water value not opening up on thedishwasher. The constant buzzing noiseyou hear is the value that is sticking not letting the water into thedishwasher.

Dishwasher makes an intermittent buzzing noise during the wash cycle and also sounds like a rattling noise in the door...

Check to see if there is water in the bottom of the DW after the buzzing sound is over.
If the water valve engages and no water flowing (Because water valve is turned off), it will make a buzzing sound
If not the problem, try to isolate the specific cycle time in which the buzzing sounds

Samsung dishwasher makes a loud buzzing sound when the water is filling. It pulses a couple times to start then is constant. It pulses again right before the wash cycle. Comes from the bottom left.

This is common. The noise is coming from the water pump. If it bothers you, you can try UNPLUGGING the washer or turn off the Circuit breaker first. Then you can remove the bottom kickplate on the front of the washer and clean around the pump. If there is a water filter scree, clean it out. Make sure there is nothing rubbing against the pump which could cause a buzz. Tighten all fittings and screws to eliminate vibration noise.

Water is not being taken in on our candy c4400 dishwasher?

My guess is the buzzing is the incoming water valve solenoid trying to operate. Replacement may be the only option. You may need to empty the machine or have towels ready when you get to the valve. Remember to turn off the water to the machine and the power. Search the web for a part and an exploded view.

My dishwasher is making a loud buzzing noise but otherwise is working ok. What could the noise be?

Hi,
Check to see what is working or running when it is making the buzz...is it when the water is coming in ...then it would be the soleniod coil on the fill valve...
if it is when it is washing, then it would be the motor going bad...
if it is when it is draining, then it could be the pump if you have a separate one or it could be a soleniod that directs a flapper to run the water out...
lots of possibilities...

Check for your solenoid, or make sure the water is turned on to the machine.

Why is my dishwasher making a buzzing noise? It is almost 2 years old and is a GE brand we got from Sears. It is still cleaning and filling and emptying properly, but the buzzing noise is driving me...

Sounds like a noisy circulation pump motor. As an Engineer, I would treat any abnormal noise seriously; the motor may require examination and possibly a new start capacitor fitting? or it may be loose or have a problem with its impeller, etc. Or it could possibly be a relay for the heating element is noisy. Either way, abnormal noises are unusual, and dishwashers need to be 100% reliable as they are often used unattended or overnight and any problem might indicate a possible fire risk. Sorry to be so heavy - is the machine subject to any guarantees or extended insurance etc? Some have 5 year guarantees. Whatever, I would call an engineer out to have it checked over.

Electrolux ESI 602 will not fill with water

The float better be inside the tub, at the bottom, it usually only travels a couple of inches up and down... you may have a protective cover in the way of it.

Kenmore Ultrawash Quiet Guard 5 making buzzing/grinding noise

I have a very similar dishwasher, with a very similar problem. I fixed it by removing debris from the water evacuator pump located towards the front of the bottom of the machine (the last motor before the drain hose. In my case, grape stems had clogged it up. Once emptied, it purrs once again. NOTE: don't disassemble the motor, just flush it out, there is an o-ring gasket that is a bear to re-install.
