i know this is going to sound stupid but i couldn't get mine to work either after following every instruction to the T. I then rechecked my optical digital connections again and found that I neglected to remove one on the rubber protective endings. I took it off and plugged the end back into my TV and BINGO! THEATER SOUND from my tv!
The Ticket
you have to have a connect going back into the player, the hdmi is only one way there should be and analog the red and white
or
an digital optical out from the tv
You need to program the TV remote to work the surround sound. You gotta select a button that says AV or Aux on the remote. Then you gotta input some #s so the TV remote can send the proper infrared beam to the surround receiver. The codes will be in the users manual to operate different brands of electronics.
How can I get surround sound to work on my tv. When I pull up my menu and go to audio the SRS Trusurround XT is not in bold so I cant figure how to connect it so I can have the surround sound coming from the system and not from the tv. Please help.
