Kdl-32s2010 .... after 1 hour, screen goes blank. I can get to the menu and switch to digital then back to analog and it works fine for another hour. it is hooked up through a regular cable to a sattelite box. any suggestions

Does set do this on all inputs including one with a DVD unit connected and playing? Answer will at least narrow possible reason down a bit.

Usually this happens to my set when I am in HD cable channel mode after being on a non-digital ANALOG channel.

I basically reset the TV by changing to a DIGITAL cable channel -- stay on that channel for ten-twenty seconds -- then I switch back DIRECTLY to a HD channel (key in channel number directly on remote).

TV works fine -- seems to be a glitch when the TV changes modes from Analog to HD

you'll have to upgrade the firmware on the projector.

check around the flyback transformer for component failure. change the flyback transformer if you don't see anything wrong .

Does it have a digital port being used? If you are using the DVI port, it is probably digital. Try using the menu to selct the port. If it doesn't work, not sure from here. What is the model number?

Did it work properly using a VGA (analog) cable? If so, check your DVI (digital) cable against the pictures at the bottom of http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html.
You probably have one of the two at the left. Each has a different bandwidth, translating to a maximum resolution. The native resolution for your monitor might be marginal if you have a single-link DVI-D cable.
My 204B seems very picky about signal-level. It blinks when connected by DVI, even though it should be fine with a single-link cable, and complains about the settings even though the settings are optimal. Maybe yours is similar. I have ordered a dual-link cable and will try that myself.
