The codes given by my Comcast Remote (0000, 0111) won't work to control my new BRAVIA TV.
Emailed Sony who said it was Comcasts problem. Comcast said it was Sony's problem.
I plugged this code in and it worked:

Dec 2010, Just got a Bravia and no help from Comcast with a correct Sony LCD code. The 10000 code works on the DTA Comcast remote. Worked on this for hours. Called Comcast for an update. went on line for a sony code update. NO HELP from any Comcast "hs dropouts".
Again, thanks to this site for the 10000 code........RedLeg.6
It works for only ON and OFF the TV not for changing channels

Tried all the codes, for my Sony 10000 worked. Hit TV button then setup then 10000, should work!

I think I know why your comcat remote is not working after several hours, does your new TV have a power save feature? if so, turn it off and see if that helps. If so, either leave power save off or swap you comcast box for a different comcast box thet does not have "seperable security" at your local comcast store

My Comcast remote works intermittently. If I turn the TV off and then put the channel into the Comcast box, and quickly turn the TV back on I can get the proper channel. If the TV has been on for a couple of hours the Comcast remote seems to work. I have been on the phone with Sony and they say it's Comcast's problem. I have had 3 new remotes from Comcast with no satisfaction. Yesterday, Comcast finally came to the house and installed a new box. Last night I had the same problem. I believe it's the TV. I'm going to pursue Sony.

2 codes work with Sony 10000 and 11000 if you have a remoted that was issues in the last 4 years.

Stop wasting your time. A universal remote can not do all the things a comcast remote will do. Use your TV remote.
I do support for another cable provider. Different company, same product and I'm amazed at how much you people whine about how inconvenient it is to use 2 remotes.

Sony has unique code for all equipments, those are 0000, and 0111, if doesn't work with your tv the problem it is on the remote control.

TV codes for my Sony Bravia supplied by Comcast will not work. HELP!
I just bought a new HD Bravia and read about the problem of remote setup before going to COMCAST and exchanging my old box for the HD box. I asked the customer service rep about the problem and he said to add another zero, 00000, but that didn't work either. The fact the CSR knew about the problem says that COMCAST is aware. What they're doing about it I don't know.
