I have an Emerson Quiet Kool Rooftop R/V air conditioner and I need a replacement motor...model number on the motor is M15580. Do you know where I can get one?

First open the control panel and remove all wires of your fan motor from the control switch and the capacitor. Remove also the compressor wires. Unscrew all panels and move the evaporator farther from the mounting base Pull-out the fan motor assembly with the panels. Unscrew the blower, fan blade, and them from the assembly. Unscrew the motor and now it is free.
Without the Model Number, it's hard to know what knob fits your model. However, the link below, may provide some help. But, having the Model Number would be a bulls eye. Remove the front of the AC unit. There may be a manufacturer's data plate inside, which would provide the model number.
First off, my model # is Emerson Quiet Kool 10HW42K. No it is not yet solved, however I am reaching out to a number of sources. Was hoping to get a simple answer since it is not a "repair" problem, but rather a "replacement problem". I am looking for another AC that will fit the original sleeve.
