There is a small gear that needs to be replaced. It's about 4mm in diameter and about 10mm long. The teeth can be broken off when the camera is dropped on it's extended lens housing.

I'm trying to find the part number right now, but have not had any luck. If anyone can help, please post the part number and dealer site...

DMC-FX07 wont upload

If it's not a hardware issue due to damage like the above posters suggested, try updating the firmware. I suggest referring to the user manual before you do so, however:

Blurry images

Sounds like a lens problem. If you've ever let the camera "auto turn-off" as a power-saving measure, any button pushed will turn it back on...even if it's in a case or your pocket. This puts strain on the lens as it tries to come out...result....lens problems.

Camera will not retract nor function

It sounds like you will have to have the camera repaired. You don't necessarily need to drop it, as they can malfunction on their own. Before having the device serviced, try checking out the user manual for more explanation on this issue:

I have a Panasonic dmc-fx07 digital camera and I accidentitly dropped it on the ground. Now the screen is cracked. is this fixable?

You have to find a panasonic lab that close to ur house, and replace the screen.

Is the camera still working?

This is there website with the service labs

Panasonic lumix dmc-fx01 won't focus

See the post for the same camera: "Buttons stopped working": there is a small 2 position switch connected to the zoom button. In my camera the zoom switch was stuck in one of the extreme positions. You have to put it back in the middle an re-assemble.
