You mean you sent message to a wrong person? Sorry, I think it is too hard to delete it. Because at present Apple hasn't supported people to withdraw messages.
When you reply press the Forward straight ARROW only and add the persons name you wish to reply to in the multi text . This means they will get the whole message and none of the rest. If you press the double semi circular arrows this replies to all in the email.
Depending on your coverage, cell provider, and network it is being sent to, it might take a little while for the message to go through. You can try a reboot.
Check in your sent folder and look at the envelope next to the message. Each envelope has a check box at the top right corner.
<>If the person you are sending the message to also has Verizon: -If it was received by the other person, the box will be checked. -If it has an arrow next to it, it's still in the process of being sent; possibly because the intended recipient is out of service. -If you click on the sent message and scroll down to the bottom, it will tell you what time the other person received it at.

Sometimes, a message will have an I in the box. I think it stands for Incomplete; this only happens to me when I send a message to more than one person and the message doesn't get delivered for some reason.

I had the same problem with my new Blackjack 2, I could receive txts, but my friends would not receive the ones I sent. To fix it, I put a + in front of the number. and added the 1 before the area code. so their numbers looked like this +1(areacode)number. now they get them. Others had to do a hard reset of their Blackjacks, but it worked.
ok have you tried reseting your entier moemory on your phone? if that does not work text to your mobile company "no new feature" and if that does not work you can delete out the phone list in your text messages and re-enter them.
