If paper doesn't feed correctly when printing, remove it and fan the edges of the paper to separate the sheets. Reload the paper against the right side and slide the edge guide against it. Do not load too many sheets at once.
If paper has jammed: 1. Press x Start to eject the jammed paper. 2. If paper is still jammed, gently pull it out from the output tray or sheet feeder. If paper is stuck inside, press the P On button to turn off the printer. Then lift the scanner, remove the jammed paper and torn pieces, close the scanner, and turn the printer back on.
If documents don't feed correctly in the Automatic Document Feeder, make sure the corners of the paper are not bent, folded, or curled up. Do not load more than 10 sheets of legal-size paper at a time. If documents have jammed: 1. Open the ADF cover and pull any paper out to the left. Caution: Do not try to remove the paper without opening the ADF cover first, or you could damage the mechanism. 2. Select Yes or press OK to clear any messages on the display screen. 3. Reload the paper.

My printer keeps saying there is a paper jam and makes a funny click-click-click noise when I repower it.

There is probably something jamming the cog's that feed the rollers and paper,

If you cant see anything such as a paper jam, then try flipping the printer upside down, and give it a gentle shake.

It's surprising how many times a paperclip or something has fallen into the opening or paperpath of a printer.

Good Luck

My mx 300 keeps saying paper jam. i cant find any paper in it , iv tried turning it on n off. iv tried uninstall ..

Hello thanks for using fixya
There are some "micro-sensors" that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.

To solve it
Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder

If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then
Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air.
If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any Canon service provider.

I hope this solution will helpful 4 u

HP PSC 1610 - Keep getting paper jam error with no paper jam.

Hi there ok Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Printer HP Office jet Pro K5400 Paper jam happened now we cant print anything. Orange button with ky just keeps flashing. Can you help please?

This typically means there is still paper stuck somewhere in that. My guess is that whatever paper as removed tore as it was pulled out. Look carefully everwhere you can.

Canon PRIXMA iP2600 Printer keeps jamming when loading paper.

You have a small oyster cracker lodged in the paper path. Turn it over and shake it out good. see what falls out. OK it may not be an oyster cracker but that's what fell out of mine and now it works.
